Dear Ostad Jalilzadeh, I have two question please.
Samsamaeh: axis Kugoyma

1- When after Duo Mato we go in Horeima Rato and Duma Defence and right arm for protection, we take the right hand down to make power for right Oranto defence. A movement that is very alike is when after having hit Kimato we have to create power to hit Toyo Nokton with the right hand.
Are they all "Atishgardoon"? In Atishgardoon the arm is straight. Is it the same thing?

2- Why Toyo Nokton? Nokton hit with the top of the fingers. At first in this part of Samsamaeh I thought we were defending from a kick, but in this case I think it would be better a Soyato technique because we use the middle side of the hand. So, what is the purpose of Nokton here?

Thank you in advance dear Ostad!

Hi dear Patrizia,

1- You are right both times we get power by making half a circle with the arms but the first one is kind of like a "Atishgardoon". Because you are defending from down to up. The second one isn't Atishgardoon.

2- The purpose of Toyo Nokton is the stand. Our stand on that position is not very secure, we are at the Horeima Rato cat position. We can use it as Soyato defence too, but the technique is using for close distance action, in this situation the opponent is too close to us and there is no room for the kick and so no need to defend it, instead we can use our Nokton technique to hit the opponent.

Thank you so much dear Ostad Jalilzadeh, got it.
One last question please if you don't mind.
As it has been said so many times, Nokton hit with the top of the fingers but the fingers are so easy to break, so the target absolutely is not a part of the body where we find the bones, we can hit between the bones but not the bones! In this case, may I know what does we hit?
If I try to image what I could hit, because of the height of the hand I would think about something like the stomach.
Did I got it?

That is right, in this case Nokton hits the stomach.
As I mentioned before at the spot which we are using the Nokton technique in Samsamaeh the opponent is close to us, so it is easy to hit his stomach.
