Dear Ostad Jalilzadeh and dear friends, I'm trying to look every single ditails of the techniques.
I was watching the lessons on Duma Mato and looking at the picture too. In the picture before the videos I see that the reaction arm is very close to the face, .andin the videos reaction is parallel to the ground, action is a little minus of 90 degree and moving to punch from the side. The action arm is not so close to the head but it seems to be out as the lenght of the forearm, I hope to make myself understood.
What I wish to understand is this: when the reaction is parallel to the ground, and action is 90 degree at the side, it is right to gain energy at the side of the head or should I gain it a little from distance? I go naturally to the side of my ear, am I doing right or am I wrong?
Hi everybody , dear friend in duma mato reaction hand is normally up because in this way duma mato is more powerful and production of energy will be more, but if the reaction hand become down it is not a fault ! I think for doing duma mato it is enough bring the hands almost to 45 degree right side or left side but there is somthing important too : for each technic there is anatomic comprehention and anatomic adaptation , I observed that you have the long arms and long legs so I think what you do for duma mato , it is correct because of your anatomy .
Keep in your mind, the lesson is for practising individually. It is for basic learning. You have to choose a number that is close to the average. So if 90 degrees became 70 degrees, it would not change the fact of the technique...
Patrizia you are doing just fine if you keep the reaction like you explained, it wouldn't be a problem. I do the same thing.
My friend Jamshid is right as well. If you bring the reaction higher, the Duma Mato is going to have more power. If you keep it low, it is not wrong, but the power is going to be less.
For me is natural to go high (head high) and close to the head (close to the ear), now I know I'm not wrong.
Thank you so much dear Ostad Jalilzadeh and dear James!
Dear Ostad and friends, I'm trying to apply the lessons to the mummayies I have been taught and doing this I realized that once again I was taught wrong (let me say "no news"!).
Once again,if I am allowed I wish to ask about Samsamaeh.
I was taught at the second 07:02 that the punch was a yeteh mato, but looking at dear Ostad Jalilzadeh it seems to me a duma mato!
So, the sequence is this, or am I wrong?
-konjma mato
-left oranto from in
-(don't know the name of the next following, sorry)
-left doma mato
-right mato from down to up
-right oranto from in
-konjma mato....etc?
I know I have to go slowly but I can't stay away from the little I know, so at least I'm trying to make it better for what is possible and to correct the major things that I am able to see, so this is why I am asking.
